Devi (pronounced Day-vie) is an artist, yogi, and law student. Born and raised in Hawaii, she’s been a teacher of the ShambhavAnanda yoga practice for the past ten years. Her yoga classes are infused with warm island vibes and tropical breezes, ensuring you leave each session feeling more open and deeply relaxed. She currently co-manages Eldorado Yoga Ashram and curates an Buddhist art store, Shoshoni Yoga Gallery.Â

Originally destined to become a professional racecar driver, Dorje received her 500 hour certifications from the Shoshoni Yoga Ashram in Rollinsville, Colorado and is an Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. She discovered yoga while studying for her Bachelor’s in Music at DePauw University over ten years ago. Currently, she is acquiring her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University and assists leading 200-hour yoga teacher trainings and kirtan at the Eldorado Mountain Yoga Ashram. She wants each of her students to be safe and have fun during class, so expect conscious guidance and tacky dad jokes while focusing with a soft inner awareness. Every level of student is welcome in her class, and she offers personalized variations and challenges with compassion.
Eldorado Mountain Yoga Ashram is peaceful sanctuary just few miles south of Boulder, Colorado, nestled beside Eldorado Springs Canyon. They offer yoga and meditation classes, teacher training programs, and activities for children and families, all aimed at fostering mindfulness, healing, and self-awareness. The ashram residents include furry alpacas, sheep, and a handful of dedicated yogis. Their mission is to assist people in understanding and experiencing their true nature through the ancient practices of yoga and meditation, as taught through the ShambhavAnanda School of Yoga.Â
